Image Scouting

 We are looking for models from across the nation and around the world to help illustrate this book. We are asking YOU to send us a picture of yourself in one of the yoga poses listed below. Our talented artist will then translate a selection of these images into line illustrations like the sample shown above. We intend to feature yoga models of all racial, gender, body types, sizes, ability, and disability identities. 

The objective is to depict radical belonging while, interrupting the typical associations that juxtapose sovereign practice and elevate the power of the individual rooted in asana (physical yoga practice).  Our aim is to push the boundaries of what, stereotypically, it means or looks like to practice yoga.

Photos submitted through our Instagram and/or email will serve as an “audition” to be illustrated and featured in the book.

The selected photographs will become a part of a creative community helping to bring this magnificent work to life. Even those images that are not included in the book could be recognized as part of a digital gallery that displays photos that embody the spirit of “365 Revolutions” and challenge the notion of who should be centered in yoga practice, and wildly expand the concept of who belongs.
